The main purpose of biomass utilization is to reduce the use of fossil resources and realize a sustainable society. If we produce bioethanol with a high energy-consuming process, it does not make sense. Therefore, we are conducting the process analysis and life cycle assessment (LCA) of the biomass conversion process. Especially for the energy production system, such as biomass gasification power generation, bioethanol and biodiesel production processes, the process analysis and LCA are of great importance.
